🌻 Welcome to Sonflower Fields
A place where wonderful things are worth noticing.
For kids who love stories, even if they don't love reading yet.
Finding books your child can read is one thing. Finding a book they actually want to read can be much harder.
The Olive the Traveling Sparrow series bridges the space between traditional picture books and text-heavy chapter books. Each adventure combines an engaging chapter-book story with beautiful, full-color illustrations throughout, giving growing and reluctant readers visual moments that invite them to keep turning the pages.
The stories are written with older elementary readers in mind, so children can enjoy richer language, mystery, adventure, and memorable characters without giving up the illustrations they still love.
And because every Sonflower Fields story is created from a Christian worldview, parents can feel confident about what their children are reading. Biblical truth and qualities like kindness, wisdom, friendship, courage, gratitude, and faithfulness are woven naturally into the adventure.
A chapter book that doesn't look like homework. A beautiful story they may actually want to keep reading.
Recommended for ages 8–12, with younger children enjoying it as a read-aloud.
Enjoy a preview of Olive's first two adventures.
“The world is full of treasures for those willing to look for them.” Olive
